Should I have sold my investments?
Quote from Sally_Jazz on May 25, 2020, 11:14 pmWhen the pandemic sent my shares falling quite badly, I decided to sell out of the markets. I've seen prices go up a lot and I'm worried I made a mistake. Was there any method to my madness to sell? How can I rectify it?

Quote from ShareBuyers Editorial Team on May 26, 2020, 9:22 pmHindsight is a wonderful thing. However, when investing, the general view is to remain invested - even in bad times depending on when you need your money back.
You could still buy back into the FTSE 100 if you wanted to - it's some way off its recent highs. But the important thing is not to rush into anything right now. It's so important to seek value at the moment as many prices have risen rapidly and you may have missed the boat so to speak.

Quote from Sally_Jazz on May 27, 2020, 7:43 pmThank you!!! Perhaps I was a bit hasty, but this is easy to say as you quite rightly point out to me. I'm going to wait a bit longer and enter the FTSE 100 again.
