Are the markets going to come crashing down soon?

I can't believe how much the markets have risen, the FTSE 100 800 points off 7,000? Surely 8m furloughed workers are going to catch up with the economy and I'm quite sure they all won't be welcome back with open arms!
It's almost as if the markets have just brushed it off. That's why I've gone for ishares physical gold. Hopefully a bit of protection.
Am I just being a worry-wart?

Nope. I think you are right that's why I'm struggling to get back into the markets now.

I've been reading a lot more about this and it looks like they might. I'll be prepared this time to buy!
